General Refund Terms

We offer refunds only under specific circumstances outlined below. Please review our refund policy carefully before subscribing.

Technical Issues

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our fault
  • Critical features are non-functional and we cannot resolve within 7 days
  • In such cases, you will receive a prorated refund for the affected period

Duplicate Charges

If you are accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription:

  • We will provide a full refund of duplicate charges
  • Contact us immediately if you notice duplicate charges on your account

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • If your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • For partial months of service or change of mind after subscription
  • For subscriptions purchased through third-party platforms
  • For free trial periods (which are already free)
  • If you change your mind after using the Service
  • Due to personal circumstances unrelated to Service quality (job changes, exam cancellations, etc.)
  • If you fail your NISM exam (our Service is for preparation only; we cannot guarantee exam results)
  • For any usage-based refund requests (the free trial allows you to evaluate our Service before paying)

Free Trial Policy

Please note regarding our free trial:

  • The 7-day free trial gives you full access to all features without payment
  • No credit card is required for the free trial
  • The trial automatically expires without conversion to a paid plan
  • Since the trial is already free, no refunds apply to trial periods
  • You are limited to one free trial per email address

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email Us: Send an email to support@prepcore.in
    • Subject line: "Refund Request"
  2. Provide Required Information:
    • Your account email address
    • Order ID or transaction reference number
    • Detailed reason for the refund request
    • Date of subscription purchase
  3. Review Period: We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days
  4. Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  5. Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed

Important Notes on Refund Processing

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be credited to your original payment method
  • Bank Processing Time: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • Account Access: Your account access will be terminated immediately upon refund approval
  • Data Retention: Your performance data will be deleted 30 days after refund processing

Cancellation vs. Refund

It's important to understand the difference:

Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No refund is provided for the remaining days of the current period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation

Refund

  • A refund returns money already paid for the current subscription period
  • Subject to eligibility requirements outlined in this policy
  • Account access is terminated immediately upon refund approval
  • All data associated with your account will be deleted

Refund Policy Abuse

Refund decisions are made at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine to be abusive or fraudulent, including but not limited to:

  • Multiple refund requests from the same user
  • Creating multiple accounts to claim multiple refunds
  • Requesting refunds after extensively using the Service
  • Requesting refunds without valid justification

Abusing the refund policy may result in account termination, denial of future refunds, and potential legal action.

Subscription Changes

If we make changes to our subscription pricing or features:

  • You will be notified at least 30 days in advance
  • Changes will take effect only at your next billing cycle
  • If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel before they take effect
  • You may be eligible for a prorated refund if changes are material and adverse to you
